Marcel Schwantes (aka Marcellus Maximus in my book) at Re-inventing the Adventist Wheel has posted his contribution to the Campmeeting 2.0 series on the 28 fundamental beliefs statements of Adventism.
He writes:
“Through love, leaders acknowledge that their spiritual gifts are interdependent and have no hierarchy of value, or status, even though some carry a more visible profile than others.
“Not enough can be said about the importance of character and the fruit of the Spirit in the gift of leadership. Gifted leaders never act alone because the gift is exercised within the context of the body of Christ. The character and relationships of such leaders are just as important as the effectiveness of their ministry.”
